It was amazing to be a person behind the play. Of course first time wasn’t easy for me, as an amateur costume designer.
The play was about pirates and it was challenging because, you know, pirates’ clothes are strange and difficult to find.
I asked the director and watched some pirates’ movies to get inspiration.
Alhamdulillah, a month was enough to prepare the costume. Even there were some effort that I made, like went to preloved market in Gedebage with my friends to find a great-coat and brought three pairs of boots from my hometown.
But I felt satisfy when the play was succeed and now I am so interested being a costume designer in every play produced by ELF.
